True Vintage - 1950’s
Mid Century classic heavyweight highball or water glass in a rich jewel tone amber yellow. Great hand-feel because of the design, which includes thumbprint shapes. Heavy bottomed, sun-shaped base.
These glasses were made by the Continental Can Company, which was bought out by Hazel Atlas in 1956. The pattern is called Reflections, which really suits them, since the faceted shape at the base reflects sunny light patterns onto any surface in bright light.
Overall - a 10/10.
